Résumé

The paper discusses the fluorocarbon options available to CFC refrigerants (R11, R12, R502, R13, R114, and R503) as well as HCFC refrigerants (R22 and R123). The techno-commercial issues associated with the change in refrigerant like material compatibility, lubricant changes, current cost of the refrigerant, availability, etc. are also discussed.
