In Australia, availability of convenience meals has meant that consumption has increased in the chilled (not frozen) segment. In the past 5 years, this part of the market has experienced a growth rate of 39%. The author predicts the future of public refrigerated warehouses and presents 'the big six' operators who account for 75% of available space.
