Assesses the main building-related diseases which are mainly due to microbiological contamination of the indoor environment. Reviews the sources of microbiological contamination of the indoor air, particularly from humidifiers, chillers, ductwork, water leaks and the building occupants. Describes the assessment of the indoor environment by culturing organisms or measuring antigen. Evaluates methods of control. Excludes legionella.
