Résumé

When thawing cryopreserved tissues, which are vitrified, it is highly important to avoid formation of ice crystals, which can cause damage to the cells. This is possible with microwave heating. This process has nevertheless some drawbacks (thermal runaways in some points during reheating). Tests to avoid these drawbacks were performed using hybrid heating, that is to say mixing microwave periodical heating, with convective medium heating around the tissue. The work comprises modelling of this hybrid heating.
