Résumé

Evidently, the choice of geometry for a regenerator or magnetic cooling cell is an important problem in the magnetic cooling technology. In our work, we study a heat transfer in the three-dimensional magnetic cooling cell involving microwires of Ni45Co5Mn37In13 Heusler alloy. In the present study of heat transfer processes in the system with microwires, we used the system of differential equations including the Navier–Stokes and heat equations for fluid and solid, while the incompressible fluid is passed. The relaxation times of the temperature of wires, the temperature distribution in the magnetic wires and coolant in the cell were calculated. Our data clearly point to the fact that the relaxation time increases practically linearly with the increasing microwire diameter.
