Résumé

The NCAP outlines clear measures and priorities for the transition to sustainable cooling equipment and systems. This approach supports Jordan’s commitments under internationalagreements and aligns with its sustainable development goals. The measures in the plan areformulated in the form of action cards covering several areas, such as awareness, media, gender,building performance standards, capacity building, the cold chain, cooling demand response,environmental design and end-of-life management, securing the necessary financing for projectimplementation, minimum energy performance standards (MEPS), and refrigerant standards andregulations to promote the use of natural refrigerants.
