Résumé

A heat storage system is one of the best ways of peak shift. The COP of an ice storage system becomes lower because of its low evaporative temperature and it needs plant replacements for existing buildings. Phase change materials having higher melting point than ice will be preferable for small existing buildings. The possibilities and technical target of phase change materials are discussed.
