Résumé

The report deals with possibilities for a short- and medium-term change to environmentally benign refrigerants in medium and large commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning plants. It describes: perspectives in refrigerant development; HCFC refrigerants (R22 as a substitute for R12 and R502); chlorine free HFC refrigerants (R134a and R125); refrigerant blends (R502, R404A, R507A, R407A, R407B, R407C, R410A and R125/R134a/R600); and halogen-free refrigerants (ammonia, propane, propylene and CO2).
