Phénomène de vieillissement des parois des conteneurs frigorifiques et mesures à prendre pendant le transport maritime.

Shrivelled phenomenon of reefer container walls and precautionary measures during ocean transportation.

Auteurs : HAN H., KAN A., JI J.

Résumé

The shrivelled phenomenon of reefer container walls is one of the most important factors that influence ocean transportation safety. Theoretical and experimental researches have been made on the strength characteristics, performances of heat transfer, and performances of the insulated foam layers at super-low temperatures. The results show that there exists obvious high vacuum inside the reefer container, which is the main reason why the foam layer has been cracked and reefer side walls shrivelled and distorted. The vacuum-release valve controlled by air pressure differences has been designed to make the air pressure inside and outside of the reefer balance, avoiding the side wall vacuum-shrivelled and damaged.
