Résumé
The article deals with two aspects that contribute to the greenhouse effect: energy consumption and refrigerant leakages. It shows that the energy saving and thereby the related decreased potential for indirect greenhouse contributions (by adjustment of the respective cooling capacity requirements at low outside temperatures) results in greater reductions in CO2 emissions than the use of refrigerants with greenhouse-effect potential.
