Résumé

The application of cool storage has evolved into a sustainable technology primarily due to gains in ways to reduce first cost and make it compatible with non-storage systems based strictly on first cost. One of the benefits of cool storage is to combine it with cold air distribution. EPRI developed a guide to highlight several case studies related to the non-HVAC first cost benefits of thermal storage. Some of these are included in the paper.
