Résumé

Stefan-like problems are those prolems which admit at least two phases in equilibria usually separated by a sharp or extended front. It is well known that these problems are very difficult to solve from a mathematical viewpoint due to inherent non-linearity induced by the free boundary. For convenience, the authors consider monodimensional problems. They present new theoretical results for problems with tractable geometry and with phase change at fixed temperature. They consider some boundary conditions such as the Neumann condition, Dirichlet condition and Fourier condition. An application is made to estimate the thickness of thawed ground beneath a river (talik).
