Résumé

This paper reports on experimental results of research on a vertical closed-loop pulsating/oscillating heat pipe (VCLPHP) with methanol, ethanol, acetone, water and different binary mixtures have been done at 60% filling ratio (FR) and power inputs (Q) of 20W, 40W, 60W, 80W and 100W. The volume ratio of binary nonazeotropic mixtures is 1:1. The VCLPHP is made of copper tubes of internal diameters 2mm and wall thickness 1mm. The evaporation zone temperature (Te) and the condensation section are recorded to find the characteristics of the thermal resistance (R). The temperature difference (?T) between the evaporation zone temperature and the condensation section is used to estimate the temperature uniformity of the VCLPHP. The thermal resistance decreases with the increase of the power input. The thermal resistance decreases more slowly with the increase of the power input, and the differences of the thermal resistances with working fluids are smaller at Q=60W. For the pure working fluids VCLPHP, the sequence of the thermal resistances is here from small to large, acetone, methanol, ethanol and water. For the binary mixture working fluids VCLPHP, the VCLPHP of water/methanol has optimal thermal performance of the three kinds of binary mixture working fluids.
