Recherches théorique et expérimentale sur les procédés de congélation dans une machine à glace domestique.

Theoretical and experimental research on the freezing process of a household ice machine.

Auteurs : JIA L., JIANG D.

Résumé

Based on the operating principle and structure of a household ice machine, the mathematic physical model of freezing process is developed according to the enthalpy method. Implicit format of finite difference method is utilized and numerical simulation is analyzed. Some experiments are tested on an ice machine specimen. The relationship between ice thickness and freezing time is obtained by means of ambient temperature alternation, and measured values are contrasted with numerical results. Conclusions indicate that absolute relative error between numerical and experimental results is less than 3%, and in the same operating time, ice thickness and quality descend accompany with ambient temperature rise.
