The authors produced a fan-cooling type refrigerator named "non-flon (CFC-free, HCFC-free and HFC-free) Hikari Plasma Senzohko" using more energy-saving and environmentally friendly materials. Energy-saving technologies consist of a new compressor for isobutane and its control system. Additionally, the safety design for using the flammable refrigerant meets JEMA safety standard requirements.
