Résumé

This paper presents method of the energy efficiency optimization via co-simulation: building’s energy dynamics and dynamics of solar thermal energy collection and absorption cooling. Absorption cooling main heat source is generated heat by the gas fueled cogeneration plant. Designed system’s high energy performance is result of heat recovery, ice storage, thermal mass increase adding PCM to the internal walls, energy efficient lighting and daylighting control. Ten scenarios of different measures for energy efficiency improvement have been analysed and the best scenario was selected for the final design, taking in account total installed power, cooling and heating energy demand and total annual energy demand, electrical energy demand, new technologies implementation, as well as related investment and operational costs. It has been shown, for current still low gas and very modest increase of electricity prices in Serbia, that optimal scenario encompasses the absorption cooling via solar assisted gas fueled distributed cogeneration i.e. CHP.
