As a new way of building energy conservation, district energy supply system has a good development prospect. Presents the type of cold and heat source suitable to be selected in the district energy supply system. The following factors should be considered in the selection, including reliability, safety, compatibility, energy efficiency and carbon reduction, economic efficiency. These factors will have a great influence on the success of district energy supply systems.
