This is the 22 slide PowerPoint presentation of Gluckman's paper which provides guidance about selecting refrigerants in different market sectors.
The RACHP market is complex – the best option may be different in each part of the market. Lower GWP is an important selection criterion, along with issues such as safety, energy efficiency, total cost of ownership and commercial availability. 26 refrigerants described in the paper are being considered as replacements for just 5 refrigerants - and the number is growing. A review of market sectors shows which refrigerants are becoming popular alternatives.
