Simulation numérique directe du transfert de chaleur du dioxyde de carbone au voisinage des parois.

Direct numerical simulation of the near wall heat transfer of carbon dioxide.

Résumé

The mechanism of turbulent heat transport of supercritical carbon dioxide (CO2) was investigated by direct numerical simulation (DNS) under heating and cooling conditions near the critical point. As the thermal and transport properties of supercritical CO2 depend significantly on the pressure and temperature, Prandtl number and local Reynolds number are varied in DNS according to CO2 properties near the critical point at 8.0 MPa. The authors focus on near wall turbulence structure and turbulent heat transfer, and show that distinct differences between general fluids and supercritical ones can be observed in the heat transfer mechanism near the wall.
