Résumé

In this paper, a liquid desiccant air conditioning system using low-grade heat resource is designed. The system, which employs environmental-friendly, ozone-safe working substance. LiCl solution as the desiccant, can treat the ambient air at a high temperature (35°C) to the air conditioning supply air at a low temperature (18°C). It can independently handle both latent and sensible heat load of the room without any other refrigeration method. The complicated heat and mass transfer process of individual components is analyzed theoretically and the numerical simulation for the whole system is established. Based on theoretical analysis and numerical computation, a liquid desiccant air conditioning device which can offer 40 kW cooling capacity is worked out and built up. The COP of the device can be up to 0.8 when the heat source temperature is about 70°C. The experimental data well consist with the numerical computation results.
