Résumé

Variable speed compressors and pumps in a refrigeration system increase the degree of freedom of the overall control system. Energy optimization by intelligent system control becomes feasible. The ideal control method of a refrigeration system changes from being a number of independent single-input single-output controllers (SISO) to a multiple-input multiple-output system (MIMO). The above mentioned possibilities are investigated by evaluation of the results from the use of a relatively simple system simulation model, in terms of energy savings.
