Transfert de chaleur et de masse dans des matériaux poreux capillaires.

Heat and mass transfer in capillary porous bodies.

Auteurs : LARBI S.

Résumé

This paper gives a short summary of fundamental research in heat transfer in capillary porous bodies. After presentation of mathematical modelling in porous structures from the pore scale to the averaged scale, the author presents the final mathematical model that is used in the study. This model is related to a traditional continuous description characterizing the transfer in porous environment, where the author simulated a situation of condensation taking into account its importance in the field of thermal insulation problems in buildings. He proceeded to the numerical solution by using the finite element method with two dimensions of space. The results obtained reveal an acceptable approach of the physical reality described by the ideal model used on a macroscopic scale in comparison with the complexity of the intervening mechanisms in the studied phenomena.
