Transfert de chaleur lors de l'ébullition libre et équilibre de phase : comparaison entre le mélange équimolaire binaire R125/R134a et le R407C ternaire.

Pool boiling heat transfer and phase equilibrium: equimolar binary R125/R134a compared with ternary R407C.

Résumé

If heat flux and saturation pressure are low, as is the case in refrigeration applications, heat transfer with pool boiling of binary or ternary mixtures is the same as or slightly lower than with pure components. The results are comparatively well represented by some of the existing heat transfer correlations for mixture boiling. A detailed comparison of the heat transfer coefficients for the equimolar binary R125/R134a and for ternary R407C reveals that the small differences between the results for the two mixtures can be explained by equilibrium properties at the start of nucleation, and by mass transfer properties at high heat fluxes.
