Résumé

This paper introduces a new supermarket refrigeration system that uses the natural refrigerants R290 and CO2. By analysing the principle and the energy efficiency of a R290/CO2 supermarket cascade refrigeration system, the authors conclude that this system has a good future for protecting the environment.
