Auteurs : LINDBERG U., ALONZO Y.
Résumé
This paper describes a purchaser network consisting of retail sector supermarkets and industries associated with all retail aspects of the food sector. Its purpose is to support and expand forms of joint working with industry and public authorities, with the overall aim of increasing energy efficiency in retail food outlets through demonstration and better knowledge. The network has been active in Sweden since December 2011: this paper describes its results and experience, as well as some of the incentives to encourage installation of more energy-efficient systems. The objective is to reduce energy use in food premises by disseminating information on experience and good practice, by initiating demonstrations, and by assisting the development of new technologies / innovative system solutions. In addition, results are available in the form of reports that can be downloaded from the BeLivs web site. Some of the projects are interdisciplinary. Demonstrations are reproducible and generally applicable. They also contribute to an increased supply and commercialisation of the products and systems that are demonstrated. By providing, creating and disseminating knowledge, not only to all those involved in the BeLivs network, but also to others outside it, the network can contribute to more energy-efficient retail outlets and supermarkets.
