Résumé

When an air-source heat pump system operates in a cold climate region, it is inevitable that the heating performance is degraded. The vapor-injection technique is one of the promising technologies that can improve the reliability of operation and the heating performance at cold regions. The first objective of this work is to analyze the effect of vapor-injection on the heating capacity of the heat pump system having two indoor units. The second objective is to determine the optimum injection ratio for the highest performance of the target system in various heating load conditions. To apply the various heating load conditions, compressor frequency and the opening degree of expansion valve at each indoor unit were controlled. The imbalanced mass flow rate between the two indoor units increased the condensing pressure and decreased compression efficiency, so the heating performance enhancement effect of vapor-injection cycle was degraded.
