Une nouvelle génération de systèmes de production auto-pressurisés.

New generation of self-pressurized delivery system.

Auteurs : NEESER T., DRUBE P.

Résumé

The next generation of self-pressurized cryogenic systems is the delivery design for liquefied industrial gases. Traditionally, delivery vessels store liquid at low pressures and use an external or submersed mechanical pump to create a high pressure for rapid delivery. The newest generation delivery concept uses an integrated smaller vertical vessel, which communicates with a horizontal vessel and is self-pressurized using the on-board cryogenic fluid. With the aid of an efficient vaporizer, pressure in the smaller vessel is rapidly increased and the liquid dispensed into a small storage vessel. An enhancement of the system allows the liquid in the smaller vessel to pressurize the larger vessel by driving liquid into another vaporizer. Thus, the liquid can be quickly dispensed from the larger horizontal vessel into a large storage vessel.
