Résumé

The central component of an adsorption gas heat pump (GHP) is the adsorption module. In this contribution, a test rig to evaluate sorption modules in the power range from 1-20 kW heating power is presented. In order to demonstrate the key features, a test study will be conducted with a zeolite based sorption module with a rated heating capacity of 12 kWth. Test procedures, test rig precision and the sorption module characteristics will be discussed. Advanced measurement campaigns and use of the test rig for GHP design will be presented.
