Résumé

To meet the simultaneous demand of freezing and high-temperature sterilization in the filed of food processing, a combined heating and refrigeration transcritical CO2 system integrated with mechanical subcooling using zeotropic mixture is proposed in this study. Low global warming potential (GWP) working fluids are selected as the component of the mixture. A thermodynamic model is developed, and then further optimized considering the influence of discharge pressure, subcooling degree, component and mass fraction. The results show the maximum COP is 3.30 when R1270/R601 at the mass fraction of 60%/40% is adopted, which is 27.0% higher than that of the baseline CO2 system. The corresponding discharge pressure is 12.45 MPa, and the subcooling degree is 39.93 °C. The proposed system can provide a promising solution for the scenario of simultaneous requirement of heating and freezing.
