Résumé

The condensation pressure and temperature in condensation volatile organic compound (VOC) recovery are very important to the process design. These parameters not only affect the final recovery rate but also decide equipment selection, process complexity and the rate of economy and energy consumption. The process flow of the condensation method for VOC recovery technology is simulated and analyzed by HYSYS software. The conclusions are: 1) the recovery rate of liquid hydrocarbon increases by 28.8% when the precooling temperature is from 10 to -10°C; 2) in condensation stage II, the recovery rate of methane and butane increases by 91.7 and 14.1% when the condensation temperature changes from -30 to -50°C. But the effect on VOC recovery is almost equal when the condensation pressure variation range is between 1.5 and 4.0 MPa; 3) in condensation stage II, the power consumption of compressor increases by 2.5 times and the heat consumption of the condenser increases by 10.4% when the condensation pressure of 1.5 MPa increases to 4.0 MPa.
