On souligne que bien que l'utilisation de frigorigènes monophasiques secondaires à basse température ne soit pas nouvelle en réfrigération industrielle et de fabrication, on ne les utilise pas pour les meubles de vente de produits surgelés au Royaume-Uni. On décrit le travail de mise au point et d'ingénierie nécessaire pour réaliser un tel projet.
