Conditionnement d'air d'avenir avec le CO2.

Air conditioning for the future using carbon dioxide.

Auteurs : PEARSON S. F.

Résumé

Carbon dioxide had not been used as a refrigerant for air conditioning since about the third decade of the twentieth century. It was completely superseded in this application by halocarbon refrigerants because it was less convenient to use and it also produced lower efficiencies. This paper shows that equipment and methods developed since the 1930s now allow the use of carbon dioxide for refrigeration and air conditioning in ways which are at least as safe, reliable and efficient as the methods currently being applied with halocarbon refrigerants.
