Cycle frigorifique transcritique au dioxyde de carbone pour le conditionnement d'air d'autobus et le transport frigorifique.

A transcritical refrigeration cycle with carbon dioxide for bus air conditioning and transport refrigeration.

Résumé

The first part of the paper presents carbon dioxide air-conditioning units that were installed in two city buses for more than 1500 hours, proving that CO2 systems fulfill important on-the-road requirements. In the second part of the paper, a laboratory prototype for transport refrigeration is presented. An internal heat exchanger improves the cooling capacity but not the COP, for ambient air temperatures of 30 °C. The last part of the paper describes the design steps of the compressor used for both examples.
