Économies d'énergie et augmentation de la fiabilité des systèmes au CO2 transcritiques avec "booster".

Energy saving and increasing reliability at CO2 transcritical boosters.

Numéro : pap. n. 189

Auteurs : WINTER J., MURIN S.

Résumé

By means of this paper the authors wish to show how to obtain higher efficiency and improved operational reliability by using industrial solutions and unconventional system configuration at commercial plants. Transcritical CO2 plants are mostly built by companies, coming from commercial refrigeration. They bring solutions from that area and obviously never asking whether they are optimal in relations to the energy consumption, operational safety and to the price of acquisition. Unfortunately most customers never have an idea about whether they get an optimal solution. The paper shows that there are possibilities for increasing efficiency by incorporating AC into a Cooling (MT)/Freezing (LT) booster system, and by applying flooded evaporation instead of dry expansion system. In addition to the increased energy efficiency, the presented Three Level System (TLS) offers a whole number of improvements like higher reliability, less service costs, and less cost of acquisition.
