Unité frigorifique monobloc biétagée au CO2 transcritique : validation expérimentale du modèle de simulation.

Double stage transcritical CO2 monoblock refrigeration unit: experimental validation of simulation model

Résumé

A deterministic type simulation model of a double stage transcritical/subcritical CO2 prototype was developed in EES (Engineering Equation Solver). Libraries of the main components of the transcritical/subcritical CO2 cycle, based on physical models of each component, were developed and adjusted/validated against the polynomials provided by compressor’s manufacturer and against the selection/simulation software of the fin and tube HX manufacturer. In this way the main model calls validated models of the main components of the transcritical/subcritical CO2 cycle (compressor, gascooler/condenser, intercooler, evaporator and IHX), in order to realistically simulate the behaviour of the cycle. Based on the simulations developed with the mentioned deterministic model, crucial decisions were taken, and the final thermodynamic design of the prototype was carried out. The developed model was validated against experimental data obtained from the prototype tested in a climatic chamber, which emulates both, the cold room environment for the evaporator and the external conditions for gascooler/condenser.
