Résumé

The utilization of low-grade waste heat (< 130°C) is required at many industrial sites, and this approach is getting attention due to the global climate change. Geothermal and solar energies are considered typical renewable resources by utilizing low-grade heat resources. Conventional heat-toelectricity conversion methods are challenged to meet high power density and conversion efficiency. This study not only proposes a new combination of two complexing agents, Acetonitrile and Ammonia, which depends on the concentration ratio but also evaluates each different case of proposed complexing agents at the charging temperature of 90°C to apply the building applications. The best ratio of Acetonitrile/Ammonia ratio, 7:3, is chosen with a heat-to-electricity conversion efficiency of 1.04 %. It produces a power density of 60.6 W/m2 (based on the projected area of a single copper electrode) with 294.8 mV of open-circuit potential.
