Résumé

The refrigerating system of refrigerated truck was investigated by using an analytical model based on refrigerated truck system. The formation of frost causes the reduction of heat exchanger performance due to an increase of thermal resistance. In this study, the performance of refrigerating system was predicted with frost growth and the system performance characteristics were analyzed with outdoor temperature, outdoor air velocity and compressor speed. As a result, for the basic condition, the air pressure drop and the thermal resistance increased as the frost thickness of the refrigerating system rose. Besides, the cooling capacity and COP of system was decreased with a rise of frost thickness. The cooling capacity decreased by 30% at frost thickness of 0.9 mm. The maximum system COP was shown at compressor speed of 1500 rpm for non-frost and frost simultaneously. COPs of the frost thickness of 0 and 0.2 mm were 2.30 and 2.19, respectively.
