Résumé

In this paper, a novel transcritical CO2/R134a combined system was investigated theoretically and experimentally applying to space heating, which was in winter and feed water temperature was high (40-50°C). The mathematical model was verified by experiment, and also, the mathematical model of the standard transcritical CO2 system was built in the same method and assumption. There was an optimizable parameter in the standard system, CO2 discharge pressure, while there were two in the combined system, intermediate water temperature and CO2 discharge pressure. Under the same working conditions and power consumptions, the advantages of combined system compared to standard system was figured out by analyzing system performances and security applications. Results showed that COP and heating capacity of combined system were improved up to 12.7% and 25.5% compared to standard system, respectively. Due to the effective reduction in the CO2 outlet temperature of gas cooler, the optimum discharge pressure of CO2 decreased up to 37% compared to standard system, so that the combined system was much safer and more stable than the standard system.
