Résumé

This CD-ROM contains the 900 lectures given at this conference, organised by the VDI/VDE-GMA under the auspices ot the EUCA (European Union Control Association), held in Karlsruhe, Germany, on August 31, 1999. Automatic control is required for safety, efficiency and economic purposes in industrial and consumer-related applications. The conference covers aspects of systems and control ranging from fundamental research to a wide field of engineering applications. Extract from the topics: control of an air conditioning system and robustness analysis of stability; variable air volume control using a finite state machine; hybrid control of gas compressors.
