Résumé

Certification of refrigerated vehicles performances is based on the performances of prototypes and manufacturers capacities to produce constantly the same level of insulation for their products. The performances of prototypes are measured by test such as ATP tests. The manufacturers’ capacities are generally assessed through audits of their production and facilities. Nevertheless the reliability of product certification is always reinforced by random tests of the production of manufacturers. Cemafroid in France has conducted for the ministry of agriculture a five years campaign of production control in the manufacturing of refrigerated transport equipment. More than fifty equipment pieces have been measured in ATP test station. All kind of equipment has been tested: trailers, trucks, vans, car derivate vans. This paper presents a synthesis of the last campaign results on internally insulated vehicles less than 3.5 t and of the full control plan over 5 years.
