Evolution de la conception des systèmes au CO2, basés sur des expériences pratiques pour supermarchés en Europe du Nord.

Evolution of CO2 systems design based on practical experiences from supermarket installations in Northern Europe.

Résumé

The paper covers the evolution of different CO2 system designs that have been used in supermarkets in Northern Europe. The main objective is to make a comparative analysis of different systems, highlighting strengths and weaknesses of the systems built in the Nordic region. The most common designs (cascade, transcritical one stage, transcritical cascade and transcritical booster systems) are discussed. The analysis is illustrated by practical experiences from the different types of systems. The discussion about the application of the Nordic experience to other regions and supermarket formats is made.
