Résumé

This paper focuses on commercial refrigeration applications, especially in supermarkets. Numerous brands of display cases are presented along with their features. Monitoring and managing the refrigeration plant is also analysed, and a discussion on direct or indirect systems is provided. Design of display cases in general, and the relationship between energy consumption and indoor air humidity in the supermarket are also parts of this paper.
