Résumé

Compared to the static ice-making system, the dynamic one presents the merits of both high heat transfer rate and good fluidity. A key technology in the dynamic type system is how to make ice without adhesion of ice to the cooling wall. Therefore, recent research on the dynamic ice-making system is mainly focused on the development of advanced method to separate ice from the cooling wall. The present study aims at constructing a suitable ice slurry generator and finding the cooling conditions so that ice slurry can be formed stably and continuously without any costly surfactant as the additive. Hence, in this paper, a bobbling device was introduced to design the ice-making system, in which the ethylene glycol aqueous solution was used as the ice-making solution and the PTFE resin was coated on the cooling wall. Finally, from the experiments, the effects of the air blowing rate and other systematic parameters on the performance were studied. This will be useful for the design of a dynamic ice-making system with the bubbling device.
