Résumé

The effects of maleic hydrazide (MH) and curing (sun drying for 1, 2, 3 or 4 days) on the storage life and quality of onions cv. N-53 were studied in India. Foliar application of MH reduced rooting during storage, maintained a higher percentage of healthy bulbs during storage, and maintained quality. MH treatments in combination with curing further enhanced quality aspects during storage.
