Instabilité de la température dans les tubes à pulsation d'une durée de fonctionnement longue.

Temperature instabilities in a long-running pulse tube.

Résumé

The authors report on investigations of anomalous temperature instabilities in a four-valve pulse-tube refrigerator. Spontaneous temperature variation, which occurred at the cold tip, were observed. The dc-flow could be identified as the remaining source of the observed anomaly. It can be eliminated by utilizing an actively controlled dc-flow suppression device, that uses a temperature difference in the regenerator as the control parameter. Further, the authors show corresponding improvements of the device to give a better performance of the cooler. The short-term temperature instabilities are eliminated as well.
