Résumé

Of all methods of cell preservation, superlow temperature conservation has the best effect. Different kinds of cryoprotectants differ largely in their effects on cell preservation. Nowadays, AFPs (antifreezing proteins) as a new kind of cryoprotectant, would gradually substitute traditional cryoprotectants.
