Résumé

Cold store insulation is a vital component in maintaining stored product at the correct temperature. This paper discusses the process of heat and water vapour flow through insulation envelopes, the design processes and details to ensure effective insulation and vapour barriers, and describes case studies where insulation issues have been identified and repaired, including lessons learnt for future design.
