Résumé

All motor vehicles in Germany must be converted to ozone-safe refrigerants by June 30, 1998. As part of a study of refrigerant circuits with original machine parts, the following refrigerants were tested as drop-ins in a vehicle: R401A (MP 39), R290 (propane), R600a (isobutane), R413A (Isceon 49), E170 (dimethylether) and the blends R290-R600a (50-50%) and R290-R600a (70-30%). Materials were not included in the study. R401A, R413A and the hydrocarbon blend R290-R600a (70-30%) were found to be possible drop-ins.
