Propriétés du rayonnement infrarouge de gaz et incidences sur la dynamique thermique des fluides.

Gas infrared radiative properties and effects on thermal fluid dynamics.

Résumé

The purpose of this study is to present the radiative gas behaviour effect on dynamic and thermal fields for an absorbing emitting and non-scattering H2O-CO2 gas mixtures laminar flow inside an annular duct. We study the effect of the thermal radiation on simultaneously developing hydrodynamic and thermal fields for a steady laminar. A discrete-direction method is applied to solve the geometrical part of the radiative transfer problem. The flow and energy balance equations are solved simultaneously by using an implicit finite difference technique. Results are presented in terms of velocity and temperature fields and of evolution of velocity.
The effects of infrared thermal radiation on the characteristics of the flow are examined. It is found that for both cases cooling and heating, radiation enhances heat transfer and speeds up the evolution of bulk temperature towards wall temperature.
