Résumé

To meet the challenges of the ecological transition, the Dehon Group has developed a new industrial-scale method for treatment (recovery, treatment and reuse) of fluorinated greenhouse gases, capable of separating the substances from the waste mixtures resulting from the recovery of refrigerants.
Due to the complexity and the diversity of fluorinated gases to recycle, Climalife, a Dehon Group company, launched two projects the R4F-GAS and LIFE@F-Gases projects supported by plan de relance at national level and by Life fund of European commission respectively. To reach the goals Climalife, with its expertise in fluorinated gases has developed this innovative process in collaboration with European research centres and universities. The aim of these projects is dealing with new treatment system, promotes the reuse of substances that have been brought up to standard, either on their own or as part of a low-GWP mixture, thereby strengthening a circular economy. R4F-GAS and LIFE@F-Gases projects are at an industrial-scale process for separating the molecules present in a mixture of collected waste comprising at least one fluorinated fluid, i.e. present in a fluorinated gas. The possibility of putting reclaimed fluorinated gases back on the market is therefore even more important in terms of this issue of European sovereignty, but above all to limit the production and import of virgin F-gases, thus limiting the associated direct and indirect CO2 emissions.
